Brightly colored country bath renovation

Its hard not to walk into this bathroom and want to smile.  The cheerfull colors of the walls are beautifully blended together with the trim, fixtures and ceiling. All the while shower arches and oil rubbed bronze fixtures show elegance, brining an equal balance of brightness, function, and sophistication.
Not all the attention should be given to that which is above either, flooring here was done in a leather like seamless vinyl, perfectly complementing the rest of the bath.
The walls here were finished to a zero-tolerance no-texture smooth finish which allows for ease of cleaning and maintenance.  Additionally a window was added  to provide excellent natural lighting as well as ventilation.
Trimwork includes a true solid hemlock beadboard on the lower portion of the walls, a nice ogee baseboard, colonial casings, and a custom contoured countertop with corbel supports.

Semi-Contemporary Neutral

Highlights in this bathroom include a solid surface cultured marble countertop with fused sinks, a cultured marble 5' walk in shower with bench seat and soap shelf.
Bipass satin nickel shower doors keep the water at bay, and a new Broan VTO fan pushes airborne water vapor outdoors.
A large wall to wall solid maple custom cabinet provides lots of storage and a built in laundry hamper.
Floor coverings consist of a durable Mannington vinyl with neutral colored tile pattern. All the walls and ceiling have been freshly textured to an orange peel finish and then painted.
Existing mirrors have been framed in with solid maple casing, stained and finished to match cabinet.
New satin nickel faucets, shower handle, shower head, light fixtures, and electrical cover plates have all been added.
Finally professionally finished solid wood ogee base and colonial casing trim work were installed throughout.

Cherry cabinet with abundant tilework

Highlighting this bathroom are features such as a large jetted soaking tub with custom tile surround, neo angle walk in shower, spacious cherry cabinetry, oil rubbed bronze Delta faucets, showerhead, shower handle, and tub faucet, travertine style through bodied porcelain floor, shower, and tub tiles, a hand troweled texture throughout walls and ceiling, and a nice two tone wall/ceiling paint.  All finished off with contrasting white trim.

Shower arch with large built in cabinetry

Are you considering replacing your existing tub with a walk in shower?  Consider this
option shown below.  Most tubs are 5'-0" wide with an additional narrow stub wall on
one side.  Consider putting in a 48" walk in shower (which gives decent room inside) with
a bipass shower door, and at the same time add some much needed storage space
with a custom built in like the one shown below. Optional features shown include the
overhead arch which helps bring a more sophisticated look, lots of shelving (inside built in)
and split panel cabinet doors.Other features in this bathroom remodel included new
seamless vinyl flooring, new hand trowel textured drywall, golden oak finished
cabinetry with matching recessed medicine cabinet, solid surface bath countertop
with fused sink, and satin nickel fixtures throughout.

 Intricate tilework with vaulted ceiling

This bathroom ended up being a complete renovation, everything from the ground up on this 1930's bathroom had to be updated or replaced.  As you can see a matching tile in four different sizes  were used throughout this bathroom.  The shower itself has a 24" diagonal seat, and organization is provided by a two shelf inset display decorated with various glass and ornate tiles.  Cast tiles were also added to the floor pattern to add a little interest. The ceiling itself began as a 7' high ceiling, barely adequate, so an additional vault was framed in to the existing hipped roof, insulated, and recessed fixtures were installed.
An elegant dark cabinet was installed with a solid surface countertop, and topped off with a Delta satin nickel faucet, showerhead, and tub faucet.  And finally a  new Broan VTO ultra quiet fan was installed to handle moisture. Not shown is a new custom Holcam satin nickel shower door, and built in shelving.
